Computer Networking

A home computer network should be considered if the household consists of multiple computer users.  The computer network can allow multiple computers to share software, printers and internet service provider.  If there are designated computer locations, a hardwired network system is recommended because of improved data throughput and security.  Computer locations of uncertainty or floating nodes for laptops, can be accomplished with a wireless network combined with the hardwired network through the same router.  Common file and peripheral access may be achieved through software.  Home computer network connection to a common ISP, weather cable modem broadband or DSL modem broadband, is achieved by centralizing the location for the broadband modem and router location.  This should include both phone line and cable connection to modem to accommodate future ISP changes.
